The Program Director oversees a skilled team of Master’s level clinicians, care coordinators, direct care and administrative staff. Women’s Renewal is funded by the  Department of Public Health’s Bureau of Substance Abuse Services and third party insurance (Neighborhood Health Plan, Beacon Health and Network Health). Women’s Renewal welcomes women receiving methadone and/or suboxone as part of a medical assisted treatment program, and women who are pregnant. The 12 riders this year champion everything the race sets out to achieve and are a truly inspirational line-up. Most of the women are complete novice riders within horseracing having never ridden a racehorse until their training had begun.

"In addition, the examination will review the various departmental programs to assess the level of care, attention and services provided to children and dependent adults under the programs' care and supervision,'' Van Wagenen said. SisterHouse offers a temporary home to women seeking recovery from substance abuse, providing them with a secure environment of respect, order, and peace. SisterHouse offers opportunities for growth in self-esteem and spiritual maturity while requiring accountability and responsibility. The challenge will require total commitment to achieve success, a zealous pursuit of excellence and sheer hard work to win. Months of training are devoted from all the women for their opportunity to raise vital funds for charity and the opportunity to race at one of the most beautiful racecourses in the world. The race was conceived to overcome the boundaries within the sport and, more specifically, horseracing, creating an inclusive community in support of women, their abilities, and well-being. Riverside County announced Friday it has hired a former federal judge to investigate services and treatment provided to the 13 Turpin siblings who were rescued from a torturous home in Perris four years ago. Our Court Advocates supported 234 clients with individualized guidance for filing Orders of Protection and Restraining Orders, personal accompaniment to court hearings, and legal aid referrals. "My sister went out of town and this is where I may be wrong but I just needed to just see for myself, so I used the master key and went into the house and it's pretty clear he's living there," her post revealed.

Today, Santa Teresita serves our cherished elders, offering a continuum of care that includes assisted living at Good Shepherd Cottage and Cristo Rey Cottage. The Askia Academy, named for community activist Nate Askia, serves a maximum of 24 men in ongoing recovery for up to one year. Askia Academy is a healing community providing comprehensive support to men to prepare for self-sufficiency and ongoing recovery. Participants also are connected to our Health Center’s OBGYN clinic for preventive care, including annual exams and other needed screenings. Women’s Total Health has supported more than 100 women in the past year, providing critical, often first-time, OBGYN care. In 2019, the race captured the eyes of the world when Khadijah Mellah galloped to glory up Goodwood’s home straight.

They are given support and referrals for housing, employment, and additional counseling that may be necessary once they transition back into the community. My Sister’s House (MSH) is our second “Healing Community,” providing longer-term residential and supportive care for a maximum of 22 women for up to one year. Staff partner with women to develop goals and objectives for all aspects of their life while providing a safe, supportive environment in which clients live independently within the community.

As Christ encountered and healed the sick, He calls us to accompany individuals and their families during challenging or difficult times of life. With respect and genuine love, our service is carried out in a family atmosphere that is joyful, compassionate, and filled with life-giving creativity. Through our life of prayer, together with professional excellence, our service promotes healing in sickness, patience in infirmity, and hope in the final hours of life. Founded in 2014, the charity supports any self-identifying women with multiple disadvantages, offering wrap-around support, specialising in domestic abuse, wellbeing and welfare. In 2015 My Sisters’ House supported 28 clients, but by 2023 this increased dramatically to 1756 new clients (on top of existing ones), showing the escalation of need within the West Sussex community.

The program supports women who have ongoing issues with substance use, mental health and trauma by offering structure, comprehensive support and, most importantly, hope. The program creates a “Healing Community,” using best practices including trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, harm reduction, music, art, yoga and other expressive therapies. The mission of My Sister's House (MSH) is to support victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking through advocacy, shelter, community outreach, and education. My Sister's House relies on the generous support of our Lowcountry community to continue offering free, confidential domestic violence survival services in Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley Counties. Through no fault of her own, every day hundreds of single women are forced into homelessness in Charlotte. This may be a result of many events including sudden unemployment, drug abuse, recent release from incarceration, domestic violence or untreated mental health issues.

The exterior environment helps foster the interior one and this time of quiet allows each Sister to enter into the silence of her heart where God alone dwells. Marycrest Manor is a skilled nursing facility surrounded by spacious grounds and lovely gardens, overlooking a magnificent panoramic view of the Los Angeles area. Our precious and loved elders receive the best of skilled nursing care in this serene and tranquil setting.

The program uses best practices that include trauma informed care, motivational interviewing and harm reduction. Our ServicesWe offer men individual and group counseling, case management and family stabilization as well as access to the breadth of comprehensive services in our Health Center and Child and Family Services divisions. Through an alumni network, participants stay connected with peers to provide ongoing encouragement and sharing of experiences to aid their recovery. Former participants in the program find this ongoing support particularly valuable as they progress with their recovery while gradually advancing in their personal and professional goals. Thank you for considering supporting our mission as we work together to break cycles of domestic violence, building a safer, healthier Lowcountry for all. We're honored to continue providing critical, life-changing domestic violence survival programs in our forty-third year of service to South Carolina's Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley Counties.

Unique to My Sister’s House is its Women to Work program which helps survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking get back on their feet, especially financially. A variety of support groups are offered as part of the Women to Work program, including a Spanish speaking program in Wednesday. The support groups provide information and resources to survivors regardless of ethnicity and is free to all survivors. The donations, volunteer hours, and partnership provided by our compassionate coalition of allies and advocates is a vital part of our strength and stability as the Lowcountry leader in domestic violence survival services. Named for a former Dimock Director of Behavioral Health, the Ruth Kelley Ummi’s House (RKUH) is based in a brownstone in Roxbury’s nearby Fort Hill neighborhood.

To serve Asian and Pacific Islander and other underserved women and children impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking by providing a culturally appropriate and responsive safe haven, job training, and community services. Families enter the program having experienced significant trauma, in some cases dating back to the women’s own childhoods. Case managers help each woman develop her plan and find the critical resources she’ll need to move on to permanent housing, advance her education, secure employment and access services for her children. The program also offers an Alumni group, which meets on a monthly basis providing peer-to-peer and relapse prevention support. The  Department of Public Health’s Bureau of Substance Abuse Services, the City of Boston’s Department of Neighborhood Development and private donations support the program. Women’s Renewal-Clinical Stabilization Services at Dimock provides intensive clinical services for up to 20 women from one to four weeks, addressing the complex needs of women in early recovery.

Santa Teresita was established in 1930 as a tuberculosis sanatorium for young women and girls. Today, Santa Teresita serves our cherished elders, offering a continuum of care that includes assisted living and skilled nursing. The purpose of our retreats is to provide an opportunity for guests to have the silence, solitude and spiritual guidance they need in order to deepend their prayer life. We are committed to securing retreat masters who are loyal to the Church and treasure its magisterium.
